PhD in International Relations from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB), Spain and a photographer. He is currently a postdoctoral researcher at the Centre of Ethnology and Cultural Anthropology, Institute of Archaeology and Ethnology, Polish Academy of Sciences, Warsaw, where  he is conducting the project “Peace and Conflict dynamics in Refugee Shelters (PCRS)” within the PASIFIC programme, funded by Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions. His main research interests encompass Refugee Studies, Peace Studies and Decolonial/Post-Colonial perspectives, Photography and Cultural Diplomacy. He holds a Master’s degree in International Peace, Conflict and Development Studies from the UNESCO Chair of Philosophy for Peace, University Jaume I, Spain and a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from the State University of São Paulo (UNESP), Brazil.
