Fabricio Borges Carrijo: PhD in International Relations from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB), Barcelona, Spain. He is currently a full-time professor of International Relations at the Federal University of Roraima, Boa Vista, Brazil, where he created and coordinates the project “Migrant Stories” which brings visual and textual narratives about the lives of Venezuelan migrants and refugees in Brazil. Previously, he was an associated researcher at the think tank CIDOB (Barcelona Centre for International Affairs) (2011-2016) and a professor at the Master Program in International Relations at IBEI (Barcelona Institute of International Studies), in Barcelona, Spain. His main lines of interest encompass Migration, Photography, Cultural Diplomacy, Peace Studies and Post-Colonial theory. He holds an International Master in Peace, Conflict and Development Studies from the UNESCO Chair of Philosophy for Peace, University Jaume I, Spain and a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from the State University of São Paulo (UNESP).
