The spiritual leader of the Tibetans His Holiness Dalai Lama visited Wroclaw in December 2008. As one of the volunteers coordinating his visit to Wroclaw the undersigned, and the rest of Erasmus Mundus Global Studies students in Wroclaw were granted a unique chance to attend a meeting during which Dalai Lama spoke to six thousand young people about tolerance.

Corresponding to the increasing intertwining of global trade, economic but also political relations, particularly since the late 19th century, many policy areas and problems emerged for which institutions above the level of nation states have been regarded as the necessary and possibly only facilitators.

Students graduated this year are invited to the Graduation Ceremony that will be held in Leipzig on 8th November.
