The idea of this course is to share the overview of Project Management and related topics. Project Management skills are becoming more and more desired by employers and becomes one of the key future competences in all industries.  

Aims of the course: 

The objective of the course is make sure students understand what is project management, what are basic elements of it and how/ where to apply them.

Teaching methods: 

There will be different types of teaching methods:

- lectures

- group discussion / coaching

- project work - based on above each student will have to prepare a small project

and do the Project Manager work:

plan, co-ordinate, evaluate, implement, assess. (Plan/ do/ check /act) 

I will be taking the role of Steering lead and guide them in their work

Evaluation & Completion: 

The expectation is that each student will do a project and will present the overview of it to the team.

Students need to explain:

what was the scope of the project 

how was this implemented

what were the difficulties and how they were overcome

internal HPE materials PM related (no fragile data), 

my own presentations, materials project related (no fragile data).
