The Nobel Prize as a symbol of global norms and ideas
I am writing to you on behalf of the research team from the University of Wroclaw. The team has been offered a 2-year research grant from the Polish National Centre of Science for the period of 2013/2014 for the project "The Nobel Prize as a symbol of global norms and ideas". Our task is to investigate how the Nobel Prize affects and upholds the process of formation and formulation of global norms and social ideas.
In an effort to complete our study, we are conducting a research survey with international students to learn how they perceive the Nobel Prize, and to investigate to what extent they consider the institution of the Nobel Prize to be an international norm entrepreneur. Your input would allow us to gather important opinions, and enrich our study. If you are willing to help us with our research, please answer the questions from the survey file attached to this e-mail and send it back to nobelprize.survey@gmail.com. Since we are interested in your opinions the survey consists of open questions. We estimate that it will take you approximately 15-30minutes to complete it.
