From a disciplinary perspective, the Master Course 'Global Studies - A European Perspective' is combining approaches from Global History and International Studies. Cultural Studies, Area Studies, Social Sciences and other disciplines contribute to a wide ranging academic programme which introduces different approaches towards the study of globalisation processes.
'Global Studies' also brings together academic traditions and innovations from four distinct academic cultures - Leipzig, London, Vienna and Wroclaw. These European perspectives are again matched by the experiences and interests of the non-European partners of the consortium.
